Actual restaurant run by korean family, not like the ones in Lausanne which are run by Chinese. This is as authentic as you can get in terms of Korean food. Lovely people and amazing food. The lady makes her own kimchi, so I highly recommend the kimchi jiggae (kimchi soup). I also recommend you all kimbab. If you are not into spicy, tuna mayo kimbab is a solid option.

For two weary Korean-American tourists, Sopoong was such a delightful and brief retreat home to our motherland, with delicious bulgogi bibimbap and pork bulgogi doshirak/lunch. Would recommend to any traveler, for 100% authentic Korean food. Thank you for creating such a restaurant in Lausanne!

Food is delicious, vegetables are very fresh and tasty. Now i know why people love kimchi. Service is great. If you want a table go early, as the place is tiny and fills up very quickly. Prices are standard for Lausanne, but the quality is much higher than standard. Sopoong is now on my personal list of places to eat.

I tried the bibimbab. it tastes good and original! the ladies are very nice. server and chef constantly checked on us, which is very nice! i would go again and tried other menu.

The owner's kindness and the kimbap that was much tastier than any kimbap I've ever had in Korea. The kimbap I ate on the second deck of the cruise ship while looking at the beautiful scenery of Lake Leman was fantastic. It was a touching experience of Korean food that I missed during my long trip to Switzerland. Next time, I'll definitely try other menus like bibimbap or lunch boxes. I'm grateful to the owner and two staff members who have pretty smiles.

Délicieux ! Personnel adorable. Les saveurs sont authentiques, travaillées on sent la passion. Nous avons pris des « makis » en entrée qui étaient délicieux puis des plats à base de riz qui étaient tous les deux délicieux. Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce petit shop et nous avons surtout très bien mangé merci beaucoup !

Excellent petit restaurant coréen! La nourriture est très authentique donc oubliez les bibimbap en plastique avec plein de mayonnaise. Il y a beaucoup d’options. Les viandes sont juteuses, les options végé très goûteuses. Comme il y a peu de tables, il est souvent difficile de s’asseoir mais on peut aussi prendre à l’emporter. Le personnel est très sympathique et saura aussi vous aiguiller.

Les mayak kimbaps au kimchi sont incroyablement, terriblement délicieux. J'aurais voulu prendre des kimbaps au kimchi (13 francs) à emporter, mais j'ai dû céder aux enfants qui insistaient pour avoir de la viande, alors on a pris du porc bulgogi à emporter.
Il s'avère que le restaurant est tenu par les mêmes personnes qui géraient "Arirang" à Lausanne, et elles l'ont rouvert avec leur fille. Pas étonnant… J'avais entendu dire que l'ancien restaurant avait une touche un peu fusion, mais cette fois-ci, c'est du pur goût coréen !Traduction
A **REAL** authentic Korean restaurant has finally opened in Lausanne! You can feel the care put into every ingredient of the bibimbap, as if each piece had been cut by hand. The taste is exactly what you'd find in a classic Korean restaurant. The kimchi mayak kimbaps are incredibly, terribly delicious. I wanted to get the kimchi kimbaps (13 francs) to go, but I had to give in to the kids who insisted on having meat, so we got the pork bulgogi to go. It turns out that the restaurant is run by the same people who ran "Arirang" in Lausanne, and they've reopened it with their daughter. No wonder... I'd heard that the old restaurant had a bit of a fusion feel, but this time, it's pure Korean flavor!
